This Art Noveau inspired beauty stands 5 1/8" at the tip of the metal atomizer and measures a total of 6" (at the top of the ball and tassel.) and is 4" across. A most unusual decoration of hand-applied enameled flowers, vines, and leaves encircle the bottle. The colors are: Cobalt Blue, Red, White, and several shades of Green, with Gold accents. The original metal drawtube remains intact, and the ball and tassel have been replaced. There is a slight curve at the tip of the metal which I don't want to try and straighten, as it would be a shame to damage this Victorian perfume atomizer. This charming antique perfume atomizer is one-of-a-kind.

This gorgeous Victorian perfume bottle lived in Virginia City, Nv. during the heyday of Silver Mining!
Several years ago, we were fortunate to able to purchase a large collection of perfume bottles from an estate in Virginia City. This lady had lived there most of her life, and she had some fabulous items. This is one of them. This Victorian perfume atomizer is comprised of Ruby glass, which has been treated with acid to give it a smooth finish known to collectors as Satin Glass. This process was first used in the 1880's. This lovely atomizer is round with three lobes encircling the body. Each lobe has three oval windows which are decorated with the tiniest enameled dots. There are additional delicate White enameled decorations above and below the windows. In between each lobe there are enameled floral decorations cascading down the sides of the bottle. Just gorgeous! This perfume atomizer measures 4.25" in height at the top center of the metal mount, or 5.25" at the top of the tassel. This perfume atomizer is in excellent condition without damage of any type. This elegant perfume atomizer would be an asset to any fine collection of Victorian Art Glass perfume bottles.

This unusual figural perfume atomizer stands 6 7/8" at the top of the metal hardware or 8 1/4" tall at the top of the atomizer ball and tassel. The figure is wearing a beret and has a lavendar sash draped across one leg. The face looks much like a cherub ... Perhaps the figure is leaning against a tree? Not sure! The colors used are very pale tones of Pink, Green & White with Gilt accents. Very Art Noveau with the swirled details. As one can tell, I am having a hard time describing this antique atomizer. I have to say, it is unique and fabulous. Dating from the Turn-of-the-Century and of German origin. This has been in my curio cabinet for twenty years, and I am reluctantly letting it go. It is time for another collector to enjoy it as I downsize my collection.
