This doily measures 24 1/2" across.
It has a center doily that measures 9 1/2" across, with eight
surrounding doilies measuring 5" each. The doilies have a yellow
floral center with green trim and the white pleats that you see.
They are all connected with yellow crochet work. This is a beautifully

This doily is a hand crotched
( as are all of mine ) "PINEAPPLE" doily. It is tan in color and measures
21 1/2" across. It has three rows of pineapples surrounding the center.
These doilies are becoming a lost art - who has the time? I just so
happen to have many containers of them ranging from large to small

This lovely TAN doily is quite unusual. It measures 17" x 17" and has a nice
Orange border on the outside edges. A great color for the holidays, it is made
of 25 squares, each with a flower-like design in the center. It looks as if
the person who made this stitched all of the squares together. A very nice

It is not often that I have the opportunity to purchase Black Americana linens. This vintage set consists of two kitchen towels, and two pot holders. This is what is known as a jewelry casket. It is from the ART NOVEAU period. It measures 4 1/2" tall by 6 1/4" wide, which is larger than most from this era. It is oval shaped and is footed. On each side of the base you will find a rose with leaves. The top of this jewelry casket is done with Roses and leaves in relief with a handle connecting the Roses. The hinges are in great shape and it still has the original lining, although it is worn. The base is marked "B & W L180" with "179" underneath it. A real treasure.(m) ID=AN2 |

This is a very UNUSUAL wall pocket. It is done in relief with a central
figure and three other men on the sides of this figure. They appear to be of
Asian descent. It has applied color and is done in hues of green, rust,
Burgundy, Yellow, Black and White with Gold accents. It measures 6 1/4" long
by 3 3/4" at it's widest point. It is marked on the back "Made In Japan". It
has a rough spot on the top back edge that I believe happened during the
manufacturing process as the paint is uniform and the other top edges aren't

I recently purchased a collection of vanity items from an estate of a lady in
Virginia City. Here is another lovely JEWELRY CASKET. It is in wonderful
condition. It is made of a gold toned metal, with its original lining in
excellent condition. No holes or tears, and the hinges are in good condition. It is footed and of the Art Noveau period, with scrolling leaves and
flowers. It is marked "B & W" on the base and measures 3 3/4" tall by 3 3/4"

Peek into the past with these French OPERA
GLASSES. Beautifully executed in mother of pearl these opera glasses have minimal wear. The bonus is the original leather case. They come in their original leather case The glasses are marked LA NACRE PARIS around

Cranberry Glass Pitcher. I recently acquired this piece at an estate sale. Standing 5 1/2" tall this gorgeous pitcher is a mass of swirls. The handle is clear applied glass, and there is a pontil mark on the base which has been smoothed. I was told that this dates from the Victorian era ... It is an oldie. ID=AN8 |

This gorgeous vintage bookends stand 5" tall and measure approximately 4"wide. They are carved soapstone, done in an Asian influence. Each bookend features a footed urn with cascading leaves and a beautifully carved Chrysanthemum. This was a popular theme during the Art Deco era.
